The eternal debate about the right use of paper health seems to have been answered more than a century ago! According to a plan dating back to 1891, and created by the New Yorker businessman Seth Wheeler, the unwrapping process is good with the outward and not the inside – as the plan shows.
Wheeler, was the “brain” behind the Albany Perforated Paper Company, and the man to whom we owe the perfectly squared pieces of paper cut into a roll of toilet paper.
“My invention … consists of a roll of perforated paper on the dividing line between the one sheet and the next one, so it can easily be pierced …”, Wheeler said in order to create it.
